Glen Forrest

Glen Forrest

A steeply sloping and treed Hills site is the setting for this semi undercrofted family home. The sleeping quarters are on the lower ground floor, with two walls buried in the slope ( which will create more stable temperatures) while the upper floor is a living pavilion opening up to the north and a pool deck. Views over the trees to the south are maximised, and many sustainable features are incorporated to maintain comfortable temperatures. The home reads as a 'blade wall' in the landscape, and will be built with rendered concrete and EPS composite panels for insulation.
