This Bauhaus inspired 3 storey home is to be built on the former athletics track of the 1960's Perry Lakes Stadium and is influenced by the Modernist tradition of houses built in that era. On opening the front door, the living space and courtyard garden read as a single entity through the use of sliding glass walls. The living areas will be flooded with winter sunshine, and a double height alfresco area will have west light filtered through decorative coreten screens. The first floor is given over to a Parents zone while the top floor with its expansive views is the Childrens zone. Phase 2 of the project will see an independent Studio apartment built over the laneway access garage.
